New Leadership, New Menu, and a Fresh Vision for the Future

Welcoming New CEO, Sharon

This year, Club Mudgee proudly welcomes Sharon, a seasoned hospitality professional, as their new CEO. With a global career spanning four continents and experience managing major events and hospitality services at some of Australia’s iconic venues, like Sydney Showground, Rosehill Gardens, and the Sydney Cricket Ground, Sharon brings a wealth of expertise to the role. 

Formerly the CEO of Illawarra Steelers Club and owner of a champagne bar in Wollongong, Sharon is excited to work closely with Club Mudgee’s board on a strategic plan that will shape the club’s future. Her goal is to meet the needs of a growing, discerning member base while preserving Club Mudgee’s status as a community cornerstone.

Meet the New Head Chef, Brendan

Adding to the excitement, Club Mudgee has welcomed Brendan, a classically trained chef with experience in some of London’s top dining venues and the founder of two successful restaurants in Sydney. With a passion for fresh, locally inspired cuisine, Brendan brings his culinary expertise to Mudgee as he reinvents the club’s menu. 

Sharon and Brendan have a longstanding professional relationship, having collaborated in Sydney, where Brendan’s restaurant was known for its exceptional food and hospitality. 

Together, they’re focused on raising the bar at Club Mudgee, enhancing the culinary experience while keeping community spirit at the core.

A New Menu with Fresh Flavours and Classics

Under the expert guidance of Chef Brendan, Club Mudgee’s bistro has introduced a vibrant new menu. While traditional club favorites like schnitzels, steaks, and roasts remain, Brendan has also added an exciting range of small plates, share platters, and creative daily specials to offer something for every taste. With gluten-free options and daily homemade cakes and slices in the café, Brendan is enhancing the dining experience with variety and quality.

Excited to join the clubs industry for the first time, Brendan is eager to bring fresh ideas to the bistro. “This is my first time working in the club environment, and I’m looking forward to adding new, creative touches to the menu while staying true to the classics,” he shares. His approach combines a celebration of local flavours with innovative twists, ensuring Club Mudgee members enjoy an exceptional culinary experience.

An Inspired Wine List

Sharon has also curated a new wine list that showcases both local Mudgee wines and selections from other renowned wine regions. With a blend of familiar favourites and unique offerings, the list is designed to cater to all tastes, from casual wine lovers to the most discerning connoisseurs. The new wine offerings reflect the club’s commitment to highlighting local producers while providing variety.
