A Blossoming Opportunity: Wildflower Mudgee
When Chloe King relocated to Mudgee from the Illawarra in 2019, she wasn’t just looking for a change of scenery - she was rekindling her passion for floristry. After a break to focus on family, Chloe joined the team at Wildflower Mudgee, working alongside the previous owner, Emma. But fate had other plans: when Emma decided to move on, Chloe seized the opportunity and took ownership in early 2021, fulfilling her goal of owning a business in Mudgee.
Owning Wildflower Mudgee has been more than a creative outlet for Chloe; it’s been a place where meaningful connections flourish. “I love the relationships and friendships I’ve formed here,” she shares. From designing for joyful occasions to supporting families in times of need, Chloe finds profound purpose in sharing these moments with the community.
Now, as she looks toward the future, Chloe is ready to pass on the torch. She hopes the next owner will feel the same freedom and fulfillment that comes with being your own boss, making decisions that balance business success with personal priorities. “You don’t need to be a trained florist to thrive here,” says Chloe, “just passion and a bit of flair.”
As she prepares to dedicate more time to her young family, Chloe is proud to hand over Wildflower Mudgee in “full bloom.” With a prime location and a warm, supportive business community, this is an exciting opportunity for someone new to bring their own vision to Mudgee’s beloved floral haven.

DOUGHH Company: A Sweet Chance to Spread Joy and Creativity
DOUGHH Company started as a way for founder Tay to stay home with her daughter, Bobbie, and share a little joy through the simple act of giving.
Driven by the power of small gestures - like delivering a batch of fresh chocolate chip cookies to lift someone’s spirits - DOUGHH became a celebration of homemade magic. It’s allowed Tay to work on her own terms, savouring quality time with her daughter, who still thinks tagging along to Woolies is the best part of the day.
One of Tay’s favourite parts of the business is its versatility and creativity. With over 50 unique cookie flavours, DOUGHH has become a creative playground, pushing the boundaries of what a cookie can be. Beyond the kitchen, DOUGHH’s community extends across Australia, from local Mudgee markets to stockists and customers in Tasmania and WA. “Getting out to the farmers’ markets and meeting everyone is one of my favourite things,” Tay shares. For her, the business is not just about baking cookies but about the connections, creativity, and joy it brings.
Tay wants future owners to know the endless potential of DOUGHH. “Don’t be afraid to make it your own!” she says. With the business lovingly run from a cozy garage-turned-shop, it’s ready for fresh ideas and new growth. Tay and her team member Jess, both mums, have shown how adaptable the business can be, proving that DOUGHH can fit around life rather than the other way around.
Now, as Tay and her family prepare for an exciting journey travelling Australia, she’s excited to pass on her business baby to new owners who can take DOUGHH into 2025 with a bang. With a loyal local following, creative freedom, and room to grow, DOUGHH Company is a unique and heartfelt business ready for its next chapter.
