Sydney International Piano Competition, also known as The Sydney. It aims to be an

The Out West Piano Fest is a three-day celebration of piano music, gastronomy, and
nature, held at the picturesque Blackdown Farm in Bathurst, New South Wales, from
25-27 October. This festival offers a blend of sublime piano performances, exquisite
food, and stunning natural scenery. It was inaugurated in Bathurst in 2022 and has
been a significant success, ensuring its ongoing return. The festival features five
themed concerts curated by the acclaimed Australian pianist Konstantin Shamray,
set against the beautiful backdrop of Blackdown Farm's historic location and
extensive gardens in full spring bloom.

What is the schedule for Out West Piano Festival 2024?

The festival kicks off on Friday 25 October, with welcome drinks and dinner in the
Olive Grove, followed by the first concert titled “Night Music”. On Saturday 26
October, the day begins with morning tea and continues with two concerts, “Bells
Across Europe” and “En Plein Air," interspersed with a long table lunch.

The final day, Sunday 27 October starts with morning tea, followed by "Two by Four," and concludes with the farewell lunch and the last concert, "Printemps." Acclaimed Australian pianist Konstantin Shamray, along with talented pianists Lee Dionne, Vatche Jambazian, and Grace Kim, will bring these pieces to life with their exceptional performances. Notable composers featured include Mozart, Mendelssohn, Ravel, Liszt, Bach, Chopin, Stravinsky, Tchaikovsky and more.
